In
November of 2001,
some of the most infamous (or is it infamous?) ex-pat musicians from the San Fernando Valley
returned to their homeland for "the summit" a 4 day continuous
jam session featuring
members of Black Ice, Sister Mary
Shoelace, Factory of Angst, The Phantom Limbs, To Disinfect
what is Clean, Mother Casio, Anal Kitties and
Orange Peel Bananza. The Haufbrau next door
catered the entire event and prehaps this lead to the definite 'Kraut'
Rock influence heard on these recordings, hence, the fruit of their
labor was christened: 'SOURKRAUT'
